Our Story
My fascination with nature began at an early age. When I was 12, I built my first bird box, painted it yellow and wedged it into a hedge in our family garden. The angles were far from perfect and the colour was perhaps a little ambitious, but a pair of Great Tits moved in almost immediately and successfully raised a family. That experience stayed with me, and my interest in wildlife — and later photography — grew from there.
Today, based in rural Creuse in central France, I spend much of my time photographing the wildlife, landscapes and small details of the natural world around us. Photography gives me a way of capturing those fleeting moments and sharing some of the beauty that we are fortunate enough to have on our doorstep.
Behind Andy Jenner Studio
Andy Jenner Studio has grown from my photography into something we now create together. My wife Diana has a wonderful eye for presentation and design, and much of her contribution happens after I've taken the photograph — processing the images, developing ideas and adding the small artistic touches that help turn a photograph into a finished piece.
Occasionally her writing and poetry may find their way into our designs too. Together we're developing a collection of prints, stationery, gifts and other nature-inspired pieces.
Our aim is simple: to bring a little of the beauty and character of the natural world into people's homes. Andy Jenner Studio is still evolving, and that's part of the enjoyment for us. We hope you'll enjoy exploring the photography and the things we're creating along the way.
