Bring the warmth and beauty of the natural world into your home with this fine art photographic print of a Queen of Spain fritillary butterfly (Issoria lathonia).
Photographed with its wings fully open as it rests on a purple flower, the butterfly’s rich orange and black markings glow against a softly blurred background of warm peach and apricot tones. The delicate flowers and gentle natural light give the image an almost painterly quality, while the remarkable detail of the butterfly remains at its heart.
Taken by nature photographer Andy Jenner, this is an original wildlife photograph created from a real encounter in the natural world. It makes a beautiful addition to a living room, bedroom, study or any space where you would like to bring a little of nature’s colour and quiet beauty indoors.
